Branch Assistant (LAGUNA)
Location: Binan, Santa Rosa, Cabuyao, San Pedro, Calamba
The Branch Assistant supports efficient branch operations by accurately processing transactions, maintaining secure and compliant cash handling, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and company policies. The role prepares complete and timely documentation, follows established operational procedures, and addresses customer inquiries effectively. This role contributes to the branch's overall performance by delivering high-quality service and supporting its marketing and sales initiatives.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in any field; a business-related degree is preferred.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Financial Management
• Accurately handle cash and fund transfer, ensuring proper documentation and reconciliation to prevent discrepancies.
• Follow established approval protocols to maintain integrity in all monetary transactions.
• Prepare daily and monthly reports reflecting cash movements and branch performance.
• Apply basic accounting and cash-handling principles to ensure accurate transactions, reliable records, and compliance with regulatory and internal policies. - Customer Service
• Deliver courteous, timely, and reliable service, ensuring customers understand transaction processes.
• Assist customers with forms, procedures, and inquiries accurately.
• Resolve minor concerns promptly and escalate complex issues to maintain satisfaction and trust.
• Provide information on branch products and services while maintaining accurate records of customer interactions. - Compliance and Risk Management
• Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Conduct Know-Your-Customer and Enhanced Due Diligence checks on transactions and report suspicious activities promptly.
• Implement risk controls, including maker–checker validation and secure branch opening/closing procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation to support compliance audits and safeguard branch assets. - Sales and Marketing
• Promote branch products and services ethically to support branch objectives.
• Participate in branch and field marketing activities, including community outreach and campaigns.
• Gather and report customer feedback to inform marketing strategies.
• Support branch initiatives to achieve sales targets and enhance customer engagement. - Operational Excellence
• Execute daily branch operations efficiently, ensuring accuracy in transaction processing and adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Maintain organized records and timely reporting to support audit readiness and operational transparency.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement to reduce errors, enhance productivity, and improve customer experience
